Unlike Fifteen, 14 Puzzle uses triangular board making the game the most challenging Fifteen puzzle game ever.Yes it is possible to solve the puzzle with just two tiles removed from the board (with 14 tiles in play), but if 14 Puzzle is too much for you, you could always switch to 13 tiles in play making the game quite easy.
