Labyrinth - Best iPhone Game Making Use of Accelerometer
You may be old enough to have used one of those Wooden Labyrinth Puzzles or you may be like me and only have used the cheap version that you got at the dental office after a numb mouth. Either way, once you play the Labyrinth iPhone App (free or full version) you will agree that this is one of the best implemented games on the iPhone or iPod Touch using the accelerometer like it was meant to be used.
It’s almost magical how much it feels like a real labyrinth puzzle in your hands. It is very sensitive, but just the right amount that you can move the marble around without having to always depend on a wall.
The “lite” version is free but it limits you to 10 levels. Before I tried it I thought, geez, I won’t need anymore than this free version, so I don’t need the paid version. Then after finishing level 10, I immediately went to the AppStore and bought the full version for $6.99.
It keeps track of the time it takes you to finish, which makes it fun so you can challenge yourself, even on the same board layout.
The other amazing thing about Labyrinth is there will always be more boards than you can ever play, because users can make their own! There are now over 500 levels, thanks to the Labyrinth community!
Download the free version or just buy the full version because I know you will anyway!

I have been playing this game for a lot time now. I love it. The response from the accelerometer is incredible and the many level offer excitement and adventure for everyone.

If you like this game, you should try mine: BloXoR.
It’s the same initial concept, but expanded–each level has multiple blox, some that slide, some that don’t, and you have to bring the [o], [X], and [o] Blox together to beat each level. There are walls and holes, but also bombs and bridges and other fun twists.

[...] I first found MouthOff from this blog post on making a Robot mask using this iPhone app. Its a cardboard box with a moving digital robot mouth! So I had to try it, and then I showed it to my kids, and they love it! I have an iPod Touch and it doesn’t work on that because there is no microphone, so if they want to play games they always ask for the iPhone first so they can play MouthOff. It’s a lot of fun, and fun to show people who are new to the iPhone (like Labyrinth). [...]
