How better to review the WordPress App (free) than to use it to post this iPhone App Review?
The app is well designed and makes it super easy to write a new post or edit that spelling mistake you just noticed. All you need is to enter the URL to your blog and your username/password. If you haven’t updated your wordpress version for a while it might not work though. You also have to turn on XML-RPC services in Options > Writing.
Putting images in I haven’t figured out yet, not sure if that is possible other than just putting in the HTML code.
For links you just have to hand type them, not a simple task with all the characters involved.
Overall a great app for quickly accessing your blog content for quick posts and edits.
Update: Images are super easy to add, just grab them from your photo gallery. I took screenshots and then just picked them out.
The preview feature is great, looks like they just put the preview page in a browser view.
Great job WordPress!

Not looking hard enough for image support in Wordpress app. Super easy to add photos from the phone, including screen shots as you’ve done.
I’ve already made a few posts using the phone, including non-html photos and love it.

I had a hard time finding image support in the Wordpress app too. “Not looking hard enough” is a good sign that there’s a usability improvement opportunity.
